We have been making and selling Assam CTC tea from Mumbai since 1986.
Using this website
You may use this website to look at our products, to place an order, and to contact us. You must be old enough to enter a contract under Indian law to place an order yourself. If you are under 18, order through a parent or guardian.
You may not use this website to do anything unlawful, to interfere with how it works, to attempt to gain access to any part of it you are not meant to reach, or to copy it for a competing service.
Orders and when a contract is formed
An order placed on this website is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. The contract is formed when we confirm your order after payment has cleared.
We may decline an order. The usual reasons are that the item is out of stock, that we cannot deliver to the address given, that the price or description was wrong, or that we cannot confirm your payment. If we decline an order that has already been paid for, we refund it in full.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery is charged separately and is calculated at checkout once you enter your PIN code, so you see it before you pay.
Payment is by UPI. At checkout you get a QR code to scan with any UPI app. We do not take card payments, net banking or cash on delivery, and we never see or store your card or bank details. There is a discount for paying by UPI, applied at checkout.
Your order is held for you until the payment reaches us. Nothing is dispatched before then.
Prices can change at any time. The price that applies to your order is the one shown at checkout when you place it. If a price is obviously wrong, for example a pack of tea listed at a fraction of its real price, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than fulfil it, and we will tell you why.
Shipping and delivery
We deliver across India. Orders are packed and dispatched from Mumbai within two working days of payment being confirmed.
After dispatch, delivery is usually two to four days across the Mumbai region and five to seven days elsewhere in India. Those are the times couriers give us and they hold most of the time, but they are estimates rather than guarantees. Delays caused by weather, strikes, public holidays, courier backlogs or anything else outside our control are not something we can promise against.
If you give an email address at checkout, tracking is sent to it when the parcel ships. Email is optional on this site, so if you did not give one, message us your order number and we will look it up for you.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Returns, replacements and refunds
We do not accept returns, because tea is food and we will not put a returned pack back into circulation. If a parcel arrives short, wrong, damaged or tampered with, we replace it, and an unedited unboxing video is needed to approve the claim.

Bulk and trade orders
Wholesale, distribution and export supply are agreed separately and are not governed by the checkout terms on this page. Trade pricing, minimum quantities and payment terms are set per buyer. See the wholesale page for how that works.
Product information and photographs
We describe our tea as accurately as we can. Photographs are of the actual product, but colour varies between screens, and the appearance of the leaf varies naturally between batches because it is an agricultural product. That variation is not a defect.
Nothing on this website is medical advice. Tea is a food, not a treatment.
Our intellectual property
The Ganesh Tea name, logo, packaging design, photographs, text and the design of this website belong to Ganesh Premium Tea Private Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or build on any of it without our written permission.
You may of course link to this website, share a product page, or post a photograph of tea you have bought.
Reselling our tea
Buying from this website is for your own use or your household’s. Reselling Ganesh Tea, listing it on a marketplace, or supplying it to a business without our agreement is not permitted. If you want to stock it, we would genuinely like to hear from you: that is what the wholesale page is for.
Links to other websites
Where we link to somewhere else, we do not control that site and we are not responsible for its content or its handling of your data.
Our liability to you
We are responsible for supplying tea that matches its description and is fit to drink. If we get that wrong, the remedies are set out in the returns policy.
Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss: lost profit, lost business, lost time, or loss arising because a parcel arrived later than you hoped. Our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the rules made under it.
Events outside our control
We are not in breach of these terms if we are prevented from supplying or delivering by something beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, epidemic, fire, flood, strike, civil disorder, failure of public infrastructure, or the acts of a government authority. If such an event affects your order we will tell you and, where it lasts, refund you in full.

Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed. We do not apply changes backwards to orders already placed.
If part of these terms cannot be enforced
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. A delay by us in enforcing any part of them is not a waiver of it.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes arising out of them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
